Fillings

Today, periodic prophylaxis will reduce a persons susceptibility to dental caries throughout a whole life time. Nevertheless, the dentist sometimes still does diagnose "tooth decay". Formerly, after removal of caries the existing hole was filled with the gray amalgam mass that is familiar to most of us.. However, we nolonger use amalgam fillings in our practice, as there are equally durable filling materials available today that are far more aesthetic and are not controversial due to potential health risks. You may now be asking which materials would be suitable for yourself.

We have several options to offer:

  • Simple fillings based on health insurance policies
  • High-quality tooth coloured composite restorations
  • Gold inlays
  • Ceramic inlays

Depending on what you choose your filling will have a certain level of appeal and durability.
